CARIDINA SHOW Slovakia will take place in Zilina – Teplicka and Vahom on 25. – 26. May 2018.

The aim of this event is to present the hobby of keeping freshwater inverts and also to organize an international competition for shrimp breeders. The championship is organized by ZO SZCH AKVAFIT & supported by Dennerle, Slovak Breeders Association .

Acceptance and secure-keeping of registration data

Your registration as a competitor can only be carried out at www.caridinashow.com using the appropriate application form.

The completed registration is aically sent to caridinashow@caridinashow.com

After completing registration, you will aically added to the database managed by Ivan Vysluzil . The list of participants is not accessible to other members of the organizing team .

Allocation of competition tanks

After the application deadline, Mr. Vysluzil will assigned tanks for each category .

Each show group must be kept in a separate transport bag. The transport bags must be labeled with the following details: category, genus and, if applicable, the variant or grade. Please make sure that these details are clearly legible and applied with a waterproof marker. The participant’s full name should NOT be on the transport bag.

Shrimp deliveries may only be opened by the organizing committee. They determine where the shrimp after unpacking will be placed so as to preserve the anonymity of the tender collections .
Competition chairman will check that the shrimps brought in actually belong to the relevant group. Problems such as missing or wrong labeling arise and no correct allocation be possible, the shrimps will be displayed in separate tanks outside the competition floor with no possibility of being judged.

Appointment of jurors

The jurors will be appointed by the competition chairman.

This will ensure that no juror judges a group in which he himself or a member of his family has an entry.

To ensure the neutrality of the jurors and to avoid manipulation or bribing, the names of the appointed jurors will not be published beforehand. The organizing committee will endeavor to appoint an even mixture of national and international jurors.

Judging procedure

A show group consists of minimum three and maximum of five shrimps to allow for an assessment of the standard of breeding achieved. The best three invertebrates in a show group are compared with each other by the jury (two jurors in each group) with the help of a points system. A maximum of eight to ten points are allocated per show group in 0.25 point steps for

Health and vitality (max. 1.5 points)

Group 2:

Colour and colour intensity (max. 2.0 points)

Group 3:

If you are at the top of the same number of points , the final will be decided by a trio of judges who do not expose in the appropriate category .10th category will receive special attention because this will not to be judged according to the usual criteria, and therefore the organizer will appreciate one collection of shrimps by special prize for innovative contribution of shrimp breeding. Once the first place has been decided in categories 1 to 10, each of the competition jurors, none of whom has himself entered a category winner, will be given a list with the tank numbers of the category winners and will then decide which are his three favorites (1st place = 3 points, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 1 point). The show group with the highest combined number of points from this assessment will be the overall champion.

Visitors can vote on the public’s favourite on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All votes cast that carry the name and full address of the voter will be entered in a draw for a prize, which will be presented directly at the event. Should the winner not be present or able to collect his prize, a new winner will be drawn.

Evaluation of the public’s favorite and the jurors’ points will be carried out by the organizing committee.

After the evaluation, the winners of the different categories will be announced on the exhibition area and on the website. The names of the jurors for the individual categories will also be announced.

Entry conditions

Any individual owning shrimps that come within one of the 10 accepted categories may participate in the competition.

Registration deadline

Registration must be completed on the website www.caridinashow.com latest by 20th May 2018.

Number of shrimps per group

A show group consists of three to five shrimps. If there are more than three shrimps per group, the three best ones will be judged.

Entry fee & dealing with shrimps after the competition

No entry fee will be charged provided the shrimps are handed over for AUCTIONING in favour of the organization after the competition to cover the costs of competition. An entry fee of € 10.- will be charged for each registered group if the owner intends to take shrimps back after the competition.Those that are not to be auctioned must be collected in person and fee needs to be paid on Saturday between 12:00 – 12:30. Alternatively, the owner must contact the organizing team and arrange the collecting details with them in advance. An authorized representative may also collect the shrimps upon production of written authorization. Any shrimps that are not collected will aically become the property of the organization and will be sold. No reimbursement of the higher entry fee is possible. For organizational reasons it is not possible to send any shrimps back to their owners by post.

Exclusion of liability

The organizer is not responsible for any loss, illness or failure of shrimp during transportation or during the exhibition period.

Auction

All shrimps in the competition that have not expressly been ruled out of the auction at the time of registration, will be included in the auction. Any shrimps that were excluded from the auction but have not been collected by 12.30 pm on the Sunday will become the property of the organizator and will be sold. The money resulting from such sales will serve to cover the organizer’s costs for the competition.

Premature end of registration period

A maximum of 100 show tanks is available for the Caridina Show 2018. Entries for the competition are accepted in their order of arrival. The registration period ends on 20th May 2018, but may be terminated ahead of this date if the maximum number of show groups is reached earlier.

You must include this telephone number when sending entries by freight carrier or airfreight.

Participants from outside Slovakia must note on the box that it does not contain any protected species, only unsolicited gifts of no commercial value.

Shrimp entered for the competition can also be handed over at the exhibition site up to 10:00 on Thursday 24th May 2018 at the latest. It cannot be guaranteed that any shrimp arriving after this time will be judged.

Packaging

Please pack your shrimps well. Although we endeavour to place all shrimps in the show tanks as soon as possible, this can take some time when dealing with large numbers at once. The transport bags must be inscribed with the following details: category, genus and, if applicable, the variant or grade. Please ensure these details are clearly legible and applied with a waterproof marker. Your name should NOT be written on the transport bags. Write your name and address only on the package exterior or include a letter with your name and address inside your package.

Show tank specification, substrate and lightning of tanks

100 aquariums are available for Caridina Show . Water parameters are maintained within acceptable limits for different categories . There will be used suitable substrates for each category . Each aquarium will have a lamp.

Slovakia.

CARIDINA SHOW Slovakia sa uskutoční v Tepličke nad Váhom v dňoch 25 – 26. 05. 2018 s podporou ZO SZCH, AKVAFIT ZILINA a firmou Dennerle. Zámerom výstavy je ukázať verejnosti rôzne druhy chovateľstva, prezentovať našu činnosť a skvalitniť ľudský a chovný potenciál.

Výstavu organizuje ZO SZCH AKVAFIT Žilina s nemalou podporou Slovenského zväzu chovateľov.

Nahlásenie kolekcií a bezpečné uchovanie registračných údajov.

Registrácia a nahlásenie počtu kolekcií je možná iba na príslušnom formulári, ktorý nájdete na stránke www.caridinashow.com

Po dokončení registrácie sa účastník súťaže aicky dostane do databázy. Tento zoznam účastníkov a kategórie, v ktorých je prihlásený nie je prístupný ostatným členom organizačného tímu.

Pridelenie súťažných nádrží.

Po uzávierke prihlášok, pán Budai pridelí nádrže pre každú súťažnú kategóriu. Každá súťažná kolekcia musí byť zabalená v transportnom sáčku zvlášť a označená vodeodolnou fixkou nasledovnými údajmi: súťažná kategória, rod, varianty alebo triedy, kde sú krevetky zaradené. Je potrebné sa presvedčiť o čitateľnosti údajov na sáčku, pričom meno vystavovateľa by sa tam nemalo nachádzať.

Kolekcie môžu byť otvorené iba členmi oganizačného výboru. Oni určia, kde sa krevetky po rozbalení umiestnia tak, aby bola zachovaná anonymita súťažných kolekcií.

Predseda súťaže bude kontrolovať, či účastník súťaže správne označil a zaradil svoju kolekciu. V prípade veľkých nezrovnalostí, kolekcia nebude posudzovaná a bude vystavená v nesúťažnej časti.

Vymenovanie posudzovateľov.

Posudzovateľov vymenuje predseda organizačného výboru.

Organizačný výbor bude dbať o to, aby žiadny posudzovateľ nehodnotil vlastné kolekcie, alebo kolekcie sebe príbuzných vystavovateľov. Bude dohliadať na objektívnosť posudzovania, a ak to bude možné zabezpečí medzinárodné zloženie posudzovateľov.

Hodnotiteľské kritériá.

Posudzuje sa kolekcia, ktorú tvoria 3 až 5 jedinci. Dvaja posudzovatelia určia, ktoré 3 krevetky sa z tejto kolekcie budú posudzovať. Maximálny počet bodov, ktoré kolekcia môže dosiahnuť je 8 až 10 bodov a postupnosť v hodnotení kolekcie je 0,25 bodov.

Kategórie 1 až 9 budú hodnotené dvomi posudzovateľmi, ktorí nebudú môcť posudzovať svoje kolekcie a kolekcie jemu príbuzných. Každá kolekcia bude posúdená podľa kritérií uvedených vyššie.

Ak sú na prvých miestach rovnaké počty bodov, o konečnom poradí rozhoduje trojica posudzovateľov, ktorí v príslušnej kategórii nevystavovali.

Kategórii 10 bude venovaná osobitná pozornosť, pretože sa nebude dať posudzovať podľa zvyčajných kritérií, a preto organizátor súťaže ocení jednu kolekciu špeciálnou cenou za inovatívny prínos pri chove a šľachtení krevetiek.

Celkový víťaz kategórií 1 až 10 sa stanový nasledovne. Kolektív posudzovateľov, ktorí nezvíťazili ani v jednej kategórii, určí podľa nasledovného kritéria počet bodov, ktoré dostanú víťazné kolekcie:

Súčet všetkých bodov od posudzovateľov určí celkového víťaza CARIDINA SHOW CHAMPION.

Návštevníci môžu hlasovať a vybrať najkrajšiu kolekciu súťaže, ak vyplnia formulár, ktorý dostanú od organizačného výboru. Formulár bude v Sobotu o 12:00 hod zlosovateľný, pričom vylosovaní návštevníci musia byť prítomní, inak sa losuje znova, kým sa nerozdajú všetky hodnotné ceny.

Po vyhodnotení budú víťazi jednotlivých kategórií vyvesení na oznamovacej tabuli, a taktiež uverejnení na internetových stránkach. Súčasne budú oznámení aj jednotliví posudzovatelia súťažných kategórií.

Vstupné podmienky do súťaže.

Súťaže sa môžu zúčastniť iba osoby, ktoré vlastnia krevetky a spadajú do vyhlásených jednotlivých kategórií.

Uzávierka prihlášok.

Registrácia do súťaže sa na stránkach www.caridinashow.com končí 20.05.2018.

Počet kolekcií.

Účastníci môžu do súťaže prihlásiť maximálne tri kolekcie v každej z vyhlásených kategórií.

Počet kreviet v kolekcii.

Kolekciu tvoria tri až päť kreviet, z ktorých sa posudzujú iba tri najlepšie kusy. Ostatné nebudú posudzované.

Účastnícky poplatok.

Štartovné za každú kolekciu je stanovené na 0€. Poplatok 10€ za kolekciu sa stanovuje len pre tých vystavovateľov, ktorí svoje kolekcie nevenujú do dražby v prospech vystavovateľskej organizácii.

Nakladanie s krevetkami po súťaži.

Pri vypĺňaní prihlášky do súťaže je potrebné uviesť, akým spôsobom sa po súťaži má s krevetkami nakladať, či sú krevetky darované do dražby v prospech usporiadajúcej organizácie, alebo si ich majiteľ ponechá. V prípade, že si ich ponechá, musí si ich prevziať v čase od 12:00 – do 12:30 hod, dňa 26.05.2018. Prevezme ich osobne, alebo ním poverená osoba, ktorá musí mať písomné splnomocnenie s priloženou kópiou preukazu totožnosti majiteľa kreviet. V prípade, že krevetky neprevezme nik, stávajú sa bez náhrady majetkom usporiadateľa a idú do dražby. Z organizačných dôvodov nie je možné poslať žiadne krevetky späť poštou.

Vylúčenie zodpovednosti.

Usporiadateľ nie je zodpovedný za akékoľvek straty, choroby a pripadné poškodenia kreviet počas transportu, alebo počas trvania výstavy.

Dražba.

Všetky krevetky, okrem prevzatých majiteľmi, sa budú dražiť v prospech organizátora súťaže a peniaze sa použijú na pokrytie nákladov spojených s výstavou. Krevetky, ktoré sa budú po výstave dražiť, označený organizátor na popiske slovom „ dražba“. Krevetky je potrebné ihneď zaplatiť v hotovosti. Nie je možná reklamácia, alebo výmena tovaru. Začiatok dražby 10:00 hod v Sobotu. Po dražbe organizátori súťaže krevetky zabalia do transportných sáčkov a odovzdajú majiteľom.

Predčasný koniec registrácie.

Na výstavu je pripravených 100 nádrží, ktoré sú k dispozícii pre krevetky. Prihlášky sú prijímané v poradí ako ich organizátor dostane a koniec registrácie je 20.05.2018. Registráciu je možné ukončiť aj skôr v prípade, ak sa naplnia počty plánovaných výstavných nádrží.

Telefónne číslo je potrebné uviesť pri akomkoľvek spôsobe prepravy.

Účastníci súťaže z krajín mimo Slovenska, musia na krabici deklarovať, že nevyvážajú žiadne chránené druhy zvierat a krevetky sú darom, ktorý nemá žiadnú obchodnú hodnotu.

Krevetky , ktoré prídu po 24.05.2018 / 12:00 hod. organizátor nezaručuje ich príjem do súťaže.

Transportný obal.

Na prepravných sáčkov s krevetkami musia byť uvedené nasledovné údaje: kategória, rod a prípadne varianty alebo triedy. Údaje je potrebné napísať vodeodolnými fixkami. Meno a adresa vystavovateľa nesmie byť na transportných sáčkoch, musí byť osobitne.

Nádrže.

100 akvárií sú k dispozícii pre súťažnú výstavu. Parametre vody budú udržované v prijateľných medziach pre rôzne kategórie. Použijeme vhodné substráty pre každú kategóriu. Nad každým krycím sklom akvária bude svietiť lampa. Voda bude mäkká až stredne tvrdá s pH okolo 7. Každá nádrž bude mať filtračné zariadenie.
